چکیده
The performance of a marine dual-fuel engine, equipped with an innovative hybrid turbocharger producing electric power to satisfy part the ship’s load, is presented by simulation comparison traditional turbocharging technology. two distinct fuel types, combined turbocharger, involve substantial change in engine control modes, resulting more flexible and efficient management. Therefore, investigation requires numerical analysis depending on load variation, both fuelling highlight different behaviours. In detail, model validated for particular application order perform complete comparison, reported tabular graphical form, between examined solutions. terms working data overall energy conversion efficiency.

Optimal power management of fuel cell hybrid vehicles
This paper presents a control strategy developed for optimizing the power flow in a Fuel Cell Hybrid Vehicle structure. This method implements an on-line power management based on the optimal fuzzy controller between dual power sources that consist of a battery bank and a Fuel Cell (FC). The power management strategy in the hybrid control structure is crucial for balancing between efficiency an...
متن کاملTurbocharging: Key technology for high-performance engines
Turbocharger development and production at MTU Turbocharging is an integral component of the engine design concept. It shapes the characteristics of the engine more than almost any other system, as it affects its economy, dynamics and emission characteristics. This is why turbocharging is one of MTU’s key technologies. MTU has a tradition of maintaining the expertise for developing and producin...
متن کاملEnhancement of Combustion Process in Dual Fuel Engines at Part Loads by using Suitable Techniques
It is a well known fact that, dual fuel engines at part loads, inevitably suffer lower thermal efficiency, higher carbon monoxide and unburned fuel emission. The work in this paper is to investigate combustion characteristics of a dual fuel (diesel-gas) engine at part loads, using a single zone combustion model with detailed chemical kinetics for combustion of natural gas fuel. The authors deve...
